BARLEY GRASS

Young leaves of the plant before it produces grain, and before the stem has developed.

Barley grass and wheat grass are the only vegetation on earth that can possibly supply sole nutrition from birth to old age.

The young leaves of the plant have a tremendous ability to absorb nutrients from the soil, and are harvested at 12 -14 inches high.

NUTRITIONAL PROFILE

Barley grass contains vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants, chlorophyll, live enzymes and amino acids; including a balanced ratio of protein, fat, and carbohydrate necessary for the human diet. It is all easily assimilated throughout the digestive tract, giving our body optimum environment to health.

A large group of vitamins namely all the B complex group and vitamin C. (7x the Vit C in oranges) Folic Acid and Panthothenic Acid.

Minerals in abundance including Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium, Iron, Copper, Phosperous, Manganese, Zinc and Beta-carotene.

High levels of Chlorophyll, helping to alkalise the blood bringing the body's acid and alkaline ratio into balance.
