Cinnamon / Cinnamon zeylanicum - Aromatherapy Essential Oil
Latin name: Cinnamomum zeylanicum
Cinnamon is a flavoursome, fiery and uplifting botanical that has many uses. It is a master spice with anti-bacterial properties. It has been used for centuries to help stimulate circulation, boost immunity and calm digestion. It has a warm, distinctive and spicey middle note aroma.
CINNAMON OIL BLENDS WELL WITH: Cinnamon, Orange, Lemon, Clove, Black pepper, Ylang Ylang, Tea tree, Thyme.
Cinnamon Preparations: Cinnamon powder and Cinnamon essential oil.
Cinnamon Traditional recommended daily amount: Cinnamon essential oil can be used in the bath, or vapourised in an oil burner. It can be added to a massage oil or cream. Use 6-8 drops per bath and 10 -18 drops per 30ml of carrier oil.
Contraindications of Cinnamon: Do not use if breast feeding.
