This page is to answer some of the more frequently asked questions regarding payments, postage (shipping) and aspects of our sales service.

Postage (Shipping)

Q.
What postage services do you use?

A.
We use within the UK, Royal Mail 1st class recorded Delivery; this allows us to track the parcel when it has been delivered. In the case of a very large order we may send it Royal Mail Standard Parcels.
Outside the UK we use, Royal Mail Air Mail service, this has no tracking; however we do get a Certificate of postage, showing that a item has been post to your address.

Q.
What are the dispatch and delivery times?

A.
All orders are normally dispatched within a working day, but this can take up to three working days if we are busy.
Within the UK it normally takes 1-2 days to arrive, but can take longer, this is up to the royal mail and is out of our hands.
Outside the UK it can take up 7 working days, but we have feedback saying items have arrived in the U.S. after only 3 day from there order.

Q.
I am outside the UK and I wish to make a large order, how will this be sent?

A.
Outside the UK, if your order adds up to more than 2Kg then it will be split in to 2 or more parcels. This is cheaper and faster than sending a large order by other methods.

Q.
I live outside the UK; will the herbs pass though my countries customs?

A.
For orders within the EU, there is free trade and your goods pass freely over the borders. We have had no problems with this.
For orders out site the EU, we tag the parcels with a custom declaration (CN22) and mark it with its contents, we have had no major problems with any countries.

Q.
What happens if my order gets lost in the post?

A.
We offer a Postage Guarantee to all sales, if an item is lost in the post (15 working day for the UK, and 20 working days for international) we will send a replacement.

How are the postage (shipping) charges worked out?

A.
We use a system that is based on the weight of the herbs, for more information on our postage rate go to: - Postage Rates

Does the postage charge include packaging?

A.
Yes the postage charge includes all the packaging costs.

Q.
I need my order to arrive next day can I pay extra for royal mail special delivery?

A.
Yes if you need your parcel sent royal mail special delivery please contact our sales line (tel. 01458 831447) to place the order.

Packaging

How are the herbal powders packed?

A.
Herbal Powders are packed in plastic bags, this helps to keeps down the cost that you pay.

Q.
How are the herbal tinctures packed?

A.
All our herbal tinctures are packed in 100ml brown glass bottles.

Q.
Do the herbal tinctures come with a measuring cup?

A.
Yes we provide a simple plastic measuring cup so that you can use it to measure your herbal tincture in ML.

Q.
Are the herbal powders always packed in the in the stated size?

A.
No, sometimes we send out what we have in stock, for example if you order a 500 gram bag we may send you 2 x 250 grams.

Payments

Are your online card payments secure?

A.
Yes, our card payment system uses paypal as a card processor and this is very secure.

Q.
Can I use my paypal account to pay for my order?

A.
Yes, simply opt for the paypal payment option form the drop down menu when you are asked how you would like to pay. And you will be taken to paypal to make your payment.

Can I use my Nochex account to pay for my order?

A.
Yes, simply opt for the Nochex payment option form the drop down menu when you are asked how you would like to pay. And you will be taken to Nochexl to make your payment.

When I use my card to order over the phone; do you hold my card details?

A.
No, your card details are entered directly in to the system for processing and we hold no record of there details.

What are your discount Coupon codes?

Discount Coupon codes are codes that can be entered in to the website which give certain discounts from your order.

How do I use the discount Coupon codes?

Simply enter the code EXACTLY as it was supplied to you, when you're asked for it in the payment process.

We sometimes send them out with your order and sometimes they are tagged on to our email signatures.

Where do you get all your herbs?

A.
We buy our herbs from herbal wholesalers in the UK and abroad.

Q.
Why do you products keep changing?

A.
We often buy in a batch of a particular herb and then we are able to sell it until it is gone. We then may be able to buy more or we may have the wait for the crop or it to arrive into the UK

Q.
The price of my product has changed since my last order; why is this?

A.
The price of the herbs we buy in is changing mostly due to changing prices from our suppliers and the exchange rate.

Q.
Do you sell in larger quantities that stated on the site?

A.
Yes we can do on some line we carry, please enquire about this.

Q.
The taste and smell of the herbs you have sent me is unpleasant: why is this?

A.
Yes we know, some of the herbs we sell have strong smells and tastes. This is how they are in there unprocessed form, just as nature intended.

Q.
How do you suggest I store the herbs?

A.
Store all of the herbs and herbal powders in a airtight container, and away from direct sunlight.
