Goldenseal is one of the most well used herbal remedy, and infact it is now an endangered species in the wild.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
If taken over the long term, it can deplete Vitamin B and possibley disrupt normal bowel flora, therefore vitamin B and lactobacillus must be supplemented.
TYPICAL PREPARATIONS AND DOSAGE
Goldenseal can be taken as a tincture. 1-3ml x 3/day.
Extraction Ratio 1:5
Alcohol Vol. 60%
Goldenseal Herbal Powder -
Take 1/3 to 1/2 gram or as recommended by a herbal practitioner. Or use a small amount on cuts.
