Using the herbs

Simply eat the berries from your hand, sprinkle on cereals, or mix with other nuts,seeds and dried fruit. Another way to take them is to soak them in water overnight and then blend into a smoothie, yummy!

TINCTURES & FLUID EXTRACTS:
Tinctures are made by infusing dried or fresh herbs into alcohol, to a very specific ratio normally 1:3 (1 part herb to 3 parts alcohol). Liquid or Fluid extracts are made to a more concentrated solution of 1:1. Both are to be taken as recommended either neat or in fruit juice or water. (The alcohol can be evaporated away by heating the tincture in a pan with a little water for a couple of minutes then left for 10 minutes to cool whilst the alcohol evaporates.)
