Latin name: Rosmarinus officinalis
Rosemary is a vibrant, invigorating and strengthening botanical that has many uses. It is refreshing and traditionally it is used to sharpen the mind and banish exhaustion. It has a woody, balsamic, fresh middle note aroma. It is a popular culinary herb with an uplifting flavour.

Rosemary Preparations: Rosemary essential oil
Rosemary Traditional recommended daily amount: Rosemary essential oil: Can be used in the bath, or vapourised in an oil burner. It can be added to a massage oil or cream. Use 6-8 drops per bath and 10 -18 drops per 30ml of carrier oil.
Contraindications of Rosemary: None Known, however do avoid in the case of epilepsy, as the camphor content may trigger a seizure. Do not use essential oil in pregnancy.
