at Indigo Herbs, as its such a great buzz to link people up with products that are good for them, knowing that addressing one’s health naturally is going to improve one’s quality of life. Last week we attended the very inspiring Great British Business show at Earls court, we had 2 fantastic days of cutting edge ideas about how to be a sucessful small business & here’s some of my thoughts on the train home……
My senses are feeling a little battered, today is one of those days when I have pushed my tolerance levels to the limit. Today I attended the great British business show at Earls court. I found the exhibition centre a health and well being challenge and I was delighted to receive a holistic massage from the therapists on the business insurance stand. Thanks you guys!
I long for a hot Aromatherapy bath, I long for my smoothie, I long for the refreshing smell of pine trees, I long for my comfort zone to reassemble itself around me.
Quick wish list:
Hot bath with Lavender essential oil
, soothing, Basil essential oi
l, stress busting and Eucalyptus essential oi
l, cleansing and refreshing, better add a bit of Chamomile
to calm me down as well.
One big fat stress busting spirit lifting superfood smoothie, I’m thinking Wheatgrass
, Siberian Ginseng
, and Suma
You see the thing is when I push it to the limit and I get stressed out a smoothie means I will wake in the morning feeling remarkably restored rather than totally done in. I’m a busy woman, during the week it’s Indigo Herbs but on the weekend it’s family time and I don’t need to be the one to point out what a full time job parenting is. I could slow down, but I have so much to do, to share, to say and I have very high standards.
So that’s why I got into superfoods
, as a survival tool, these days I generally only go down for a wee dip then I’m back up on the level again, my state of mind is definitely more holistic.
Anyway don’t get me wrong the show was fantastic and very inspiring, and it really succeeded in creating a rich world of resources for the entrepreneur.
I have spent much of my adult years pursuing the knowledge of health and spiritual evolution. The how, the why and the wherefore of creating and participating in a world of self empowerment. Now aged 40 I find myself thrilled by the challenge of business. Being an entrepreneur is all about creating one’s own reality, being in the driving seat, becoming an expert quickly on everything you need to know and trusting your own judgement.
These are exactly the same qualities we aim to inspire in others on the subject of their own well being.
We are moving away from being a society moved by the rules and regulations of institutions, religions, educational establishments, and governments. We have lost our trust and hope in this external world. What is exciting is that we are moving into a society which is person centre, we trust ourselves, each other and this crazy co-created thing called the world wide web. Not because we feel safe in the hands of big brother but because it is the information share-way, it’s the information freeway and it brings us one step closer to being in the driving seat of our lives.
The information is out there to support us taking responsibility for our own health, to create the reality for ourselves that we really want to live. We are our own expert, we have the power to choose, to sense, to feel, to draw to us what is good for us. What is not just officially healthy because the government said so or Jamie Oliver said so but actually what really resonates with how we want to live our lives.
I love Superfoods because they help me feel alive, alert, engaged, deep rich and aware in my body, and in my mind I am resourced with this lighter energy, I’m more creative, I’m calmer and I just feel right inside.
Why do you like Superfoods?
What is your favourite power food?
