As a busy working mum (omg is it that time already!) i have to constantly battle with being everything to everyone! I absolutely adore my job here

at Indigo Herbs, as its such a great buzz to link people up with products that are good for them, knowing that addressing one’s health naturally is going to improve one’s quality of life. Last week we attended the very inspiring Great British Business show at Earls court, we had 2 fantastic days of cutting edge ideas about how to be a sucessful small business & here’s some of my thoughts on the train home……

Glastonbury Festival 2011 will be by far the largest festival of the performing arts in the British Isles. With about 138,000 members of the public and at least 40,000 ‘crew’ it really is a city in a field. Or rather a city in quite a few fields, as the event has outgrown Worthy Farm and now involves Mr Eavis’s neighbours. If you ever get the chance, go and have a look at it from up the tor. There’s nothing quite like it. Listening to the noise on Thursday night, before any of the sound systems are on, you can fully appreciate that there are 180,000 excited people in the countryside, and you’re one of them. This electric background noise sparks off spontaneous applause memes which can be heard rebounding around the festival site like audible Mexican waves. Magic.
But surviving Glastonbury Festival 2011 may be demanding. Even festival organiser Michael Eavis admits that “It can be battlefield conditions some of the time and you have to be nimble and quick witted”. As Glastonbury residents we have collectively attended the festival over 100 times and so we have put our heads together and written our Survival Guide to Glastonbury Festival.

Me & Jaz making chocs
Chocolate Sunday
Indigo herbs of Glastonbury took an Indigo Raw Chocolate stall to
CHOCOLATE SUNDAY in Frome last Sunday, November 14th. Traditionally the weather howled outside as the rain lashed sideways, so consequently 1000s of people teamed into The Cheese and Grain in Frome in an excellent mood for eating chocolate. The old grain store that is now Frome’s hottest venue housed many artisan chocolatiers from the southwest all displaying and selling the finest of chocolates to the crowds. The
Indigo Raw Chocolate stall was amongst 5 RAW chocolate stalls at the event. Which shows us that raw chocolate consumption is taking its place quite
