1. Lower your stress levels:

Believe it or not, managing your stress levels is vital for improving your digestive health. Stress is a major cause for creating havoc in your digestive system and it can lead to digestive issues such as diarrhea, constipation, Ulcerative Colitis, and IBS. Our guts and brains are connected and if you are extremely stressed it will have a negative impact on your gut health. To de-stress and lower your stress levels, try and relax more often. You can even try yoga, meditation, acupuncture, and even massages. 2. Eat more fiber:

Including soluble fiber and insoluble fiber is beneficial for the functioning of our digestive systems. Try and include more fiber in your diet and aim to have breakfast meals that are rich in fiber. High fiber foods also reduce the risk of many digestive health issues such as constipation, stomach ulcers, bloating, and inflammatory bowel diseases. Foods that are rich in fiber include: nuts, vegetables, legumes, whole grains, seeds, oat bran, etc.


3. Stay Hydrated:

Staying hydrated throughout the day will improve digestion. It also prevents constipation. Drink enough water throughout the day and you can have teas, smoothies, and fresh fruit juices.
