Smash up 2 - 3 cardamom seed pods with a pestle and mortar, add to one cup of hot water and set on heat for 10 minutes.

Cinnamon bark can be broken up in a pestle and mortar, and used in beverages. Add ½ to 2 teaspoons of powdered cinnamon or broken up pices of bark, to 1 cup of boiling water, steep for 10 -15 mins. To make an Indian Chai Tea with black tea, cinnamom, cardamom, ginger, fennel seeds, vanilla and milk.
