Are you saying goodbye to refined sugar for good? Give yourself a pat on the back! Although it’s not easy, once you’ve made the switch, you’ll realise just how many natural sweeteners are at your disposal. With that said, not all natural sweeteners are created equal. Each sweetener acts differently and is best suited for different things.
Organic Agave Inulin Powder
Agave inulin powder comes from the blue agave tequilana plant and is a healthy sweetener with a nutrient-rich profile, which does not get absorbed into the gastrointestinal tract, and therefore does not spike blood sugar levels.
Flavour Profile: neutral, clean, mild

Best used as a substitute for sugar in recipes, without spiking blood sugar levels and has prebiotic dietary fibre that supports digestive health. It is also very soluble – even in cold water – making it easily incorporated into drinks.
Organic Agave Syrup
Our organic agave syrup is raw, and produced using less heat, with less filtering, resulting in a slightly different taste. Like agave inulin powder, agave syrup also scores low on the glycaemic index, and does not spike blood sugar levels.
Flavour Profile: neutral, clean, very sweet
Best used for sweetening beverages and smoothies where you would normally use honey. Agave syrup also makes a great alternative to regular sweeteners in recipes. Please note agave is extremely sweet, so less is needed.
Organic Carob Syrup
Carob syrup is made from the pods of the carob tree. The pods are dried in the sun before being soaked in water.

This sugary water is then gently heated until it thickens into a delicious, velvety syrup. Carob syrup also scores low
on the glycaemic index, which means it doesn’t spike blood sugar levels.
Flavour Profile: rich, chocolatey
Best used as an alternative to chocolate syrup due to its very similar taste. Sweetens beverages nicely and is wonderful drizzled over ice cream or fruit.
Organic Coconut Blossom Nectar
Organic coconut blossom nectar is an unadulterated sweet syrup nectar made from certified organic coconut

blossoms. It has low glycaemic index of just 35, making it a fantastic alternative to other sugary syrups. Being unfiltered and untreated, it is full of beneficial raw enzymes and contains the fibre "inulin" which may slow down glucose absorption. Plus, it even contains 17 amino acids, including the 9 essential amino acids.
Flavour Profile: caramel-like, earthy
This syrup is so versatile, it is best used anything and everything - from smoothies to coffee, in baked goods or over pancakes. Coconut blossom nectar is a wonderful replacement for brown sugar in recipes and can be used instead of golden syrup.
Organic Coconut Sugar
Organic Coconut Sugar is made from the finest nectar from the Cocos nucifera palm. It is a fantastic alternative to regular sugar and makes a perfect replacement anywhere you’d normally use brown sugar. It has a low glycaemic index, and due to its inulin content, it may slow down glucose absorption.
Flavour Profile: tastes like caramel
Extremely versatile – can be used to sweeten porridge, tea and other drinks and baked goods alike. This sugar isn’t as sweet as white or brown sugar so you might need more when substituting.
Honey and Manuka Honey
We all know where honey comes from, but Manuka honey is produced by bees that pollinate the native Manuka

bush in New Zealand. With strong antibacterial properties, this sweet and delicious golden honey has long been valued for its health maintaining effects.
Flavour Profile: varies depending on the type of honey
Acacia honey tends to be sweeter and has the most “classic” honey flavour. Clover honey tends to be more floral, whilst Manuka honey has a stronger, earthy, complex, sometimes even slightly bitter flavour.
Manuka honey is best used on its own due to its medicinal properties, whilst honey can be used to sweeten drinks and to top porridge or toast.
Organic Maple Syrup
Organic dark maple syrup is a full-bodied maple syrup, not typically as easily available. This dark maple syrup is a grade A Canadian maple syrup, high in minerals and antioxidants. The lighter the syrup the lighter flavour in most cases.
Flavour Profile: rich, robust taste
Drizzle this fabulous, sweet syrup on whatever you choose to sweeten. Alternatively, you can use this maple syrup in baking and as a deliciously decadent dessert syrup. Best used in recipes that require a heavy maple flavour.
Organic Lucuma Powder
Organic lucuma powder is derived from exceptionally high quality organic lucuma fruits, gently dehydrated resulting

in this soft fruit powder. Lucuma is traditionally used in its native Peru to flavour ice cream, where it is the most popular flavour. It is high in dietary fibre, which supports digestive health.
Flavour Profile: nutty, caramel flavour
You can also enjoy this deliciously healthy, super fruit powder in raw desserts, baked goods and to sweeten smoothies. Lucuma powder also sweetens nut butters and homemade chocolate quite well, and is often times used in tandem with other natural sweeteners.
Stevia Leaf Powder
Stevia leaf powder is derived from the highest quality green leaf stevia. Green leaf stevia is all-natural, alkaline, pure and unprocessed. The whole stevia leaf is gently dried and ground into a fine powder. It has no glycaemic index and its sweetness comes from naturally occurring compounds within the plant called stevia glycosides.
Flavour Profile: extremely sweet, slightly bitter and astringent

Stevia is considered 30 to 100 times sweeter than sugar, therefore, use stevia sparingly to sweeten beverages, sweet treats and more.
Stevia Powder 97% Extract
Stevia powder is a herbal extract of the stevia plant, made by extracting the two main unique glycosides – stevioside and rebaudioside - from the raw plant material.
Flavour Profile: clean sweet taste
Use sparingly and with caution as a little goes a long way. Best used in drinks.
Organic Yacon Powder
Organic yacon powder is made from yacon, a root vegetable indigenous to the Andes mountains. It is low in carbohydrates and has a low glycaemic index (GI). It is rich in pre-biotic fibres and compounds known as "fructooligosaccharides". The taste buds recognise the sweet tasting yacon but the digestive system does not process the syrup like a normal sugar, making this an ideal replacement to regular sugar.
Flavour Profile: sweet malty taste, similar to caramelised sugar

Yacon powder has a somewhat starchy texture, and makes a perfect replacement for sugar in all your baked goods.
Organic Yacon Syrup
Yacon syrup is made from the big bulbous roots of the yacon plant. All roots have been cultivated under strict organic parameters ensuring that no pesticides or chemical fertilisers have been used in the farming process. After the roots have reached peak maturity, they are harvested and processed. The roots are washed and peeled before being scalded, then juiced. This juice is then filtered and put into a vacuum concentration unit to evaporate most of the water before being filtered again.
Flavour Profile: malty, more robust than yacon powder
Excellent for sweetening homemade chocolate and used for topping porridge, pancakes, and french toast. Also wonderful in baked goods.
Xylitol Powder
Xylitol powder is extracted from the bark of birch trees. It makes an excellent, healthy alternative to regular sugar.

Xylitol has a very low GI and can be used as part of healthy weight loss programmes, especially since it has a similar sweetness to sugar with 40% less calories.
Flavour Profile: tastes like sugar
It can be used in the same quantity as sugar in all your favourite beverages and recipes.
