Banana & Berry Superfood Smoothie Recipe

Smoothies are best drunk fresh and shouldn't really be kept refrigerated for more than half a day.

This Banana & Hemp Protein Smoothie is packed with essential vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and healthy fats. Hemp Protein and Spirulina provide a hefty dose of plant protein, whilst the Wheatgrass and berries give it an antioxidant boost. Organic Raw Almond Butter adds a smooth creamy texture and a dose of essential healthy fats, resulting in a deeply fulfilling and energy boosting smoothie that can easily be used as a meal replacement. 

  • Blender
  • Tablespoon
  • Teaspoon


  1. Pour your one cup of Almond Milk into the Blender.
  2. Add your frozen Banana and Blueberries.
  3. Then add the Almond Butter, Organic Wheatgrass, Spirulina and Hemp Protein Powder.
  4. Blend until all has formed into a thick liquid (add water to thin smoothie).

Although this smoothie is already quite full of goodies but it is always possible to add a bit more. Alternatively you could always substitute one of the powders or fresh fruit for others of your choice. Also the fresh fruit doesn’t have to be frozen if you prefer to use fruit at room temperature.
