
Decadent, gooey and chocolatey - Yum! Although these brownies are a not-so-guilty pleasure... with raw cacao, coconut oil and chia seeds making up some of the ingredients, they not only taste fabulous but are packed full of goodness too.

- 1 20cm Baking Tin - Lined
- 1 Large Mixing Bowl

Ingredients
- 100g Wholemeal Flour
- 1 Banana Mashed
- 1 Organic Egg
- 1 Tsp Baking Powder
- 50g Dark (dairy free) Chocolate 70% +
- 45g Raisins
- Sprinkle of Sea Salt
Method
- Preheat the oven to 170 degrees celsius / gas mark 3. Line a 20cm tin with baking paper and let the sides overhang.
- Finely chop the dark chocolate and pecans and set aside.
- Soak the chia seeds in 10 tablespoons of water and set aside.
- Melt the coconut oil and remove from the heat.
- Add the coconut sugar, cacao powder, mashed banana and salt to the oil and beat.
- Leave to cool slightly then beat in the egg and stir in the flour, baking powder, maple syrup, chia seeds and raisins.
- Pour the batter into the tin and spread evenly, then sprinkle dark chocolate on top.
- Bake for 30 minutes until firm then cut into squares.
