Keep in airtight container in fridge.

Chocolate Bark is a classic, rich, tasty, smooth chocolatey treat with a crunchy texture underneath from the coconut sugar. All the family will love it! Packed full of milk chocolate alternatives, don't feel too guilty chomping on this. Choose an array of added nut & fruit ingredients for an extra flavour.

  • Saucepan
  • Heat Proof Bowl
  • Stirring Spoon
  • Baking Tray
  • Fridge

  1. First, bring a pan of water to boil and then turn it down to simmer.
  2. Gently melt all the cacao butter in the heat proof bowl (I just used a plastic measuring cup) until the last of the solids have just disappeared. Ensure the cacao doesn't go over 45 degrees celsius.
  3. Add the coconut sugar and keep stirring with the cacao butter.
  4. Add the vanilla and stir into the melted cacao butter and sugar.
  5. Add in the cacao powder and mix until is smooth.
  6. Add in all agave syrup and the salt and mix until completely blended.
  7. Line a tray with baking paper, ensure to use plenty to cover the sides. Pour the chocolate into the tray and let it spread. While still melted, sprinkle your chosen nuts and fruits and cacao nibs. I split it into three sections one with just cacao nibs, one with hazelnuts and one with the chopped nuts and fruits.
  8. Pop into fridge to set for a few hours.
  9. Remove from baking tray, snap into bark pieces, share & enjoy!

Use an array of mixed nuts or berries, whatever takes your fancy! See our wholefoods range here.
