Chamomile Cold Compress for Hay Fever Relief

If you're struggling with sore, puffy eyes due to hay fever - give this cold compress remedy a try! It can act as a cooling eye mask if placed carefully on your eyes. Chamomile Flowers are soothing, calming and acts as an anti-histamine. This remedy is a relaxant, which may be just what you need!

  • Kettle
  • Cafetiere
  • Bowl
  • Muslin or Face Cloth


  1. Start by infusing the Chamomile Flowers tea, as if you were to drink it. This is done by spooning the herbal tea into a cafetiere, with the boiling water and leaving to infuse for at least 5 minutes. 
  2. Push the cafetiere plunger and pour tea into a bowl.
  3. Once the chamomile is completely cool, add a few ice cubes. 
  4. Then, soak the cloth in the cool tea and squeeze out. 
  5. Place on eyes or sore area and leave for at least 10 minutes for it to work it's magic!
