
Chunky Homemade Chickpea Hummus is a delicious dip with a perfect consistency. There is a tangy kick thanks to the Cumin with a potent aftertaste. A tasty smooth snack to enjoy with carrot sticks, roasted garlics & bread sticks.

Ingredients
- 1 Can Drained Chickpeas
- 1 - 2 Cloves Garlic
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 Tsp Cumin Powder
- 1 - 2 Tbsp Cold Water (or liquid from Chickpea can)
- Juice of 1 Lemon
Optional toppings
- Lemon Slices
- Paprika
Method
- Firstly, drain your chickpeas using a sieve and save a bit of the liquid in the bottom of can for later (if you wish).
- Next, empty the chickpeas into a food processor and add all the remaining ingredients - except the bean liquid/water.
- Whizz and blend.
- Depending on the quality of your chickpeas and the size of your lemon you may need to add your extra liquid a little at a time rather than all at once.
- Add any extra salt and pepper to taste.
- Once fully combined with extra liquid and it is of your perfect consistancy.
- Spoon into a serving dish and dip with tasty snacks.
- Enjoy!
