Chunky Homemade Chickpea Hummus is a delicious dip with a perfect consistency. There is a tangy kick thanks to the Cumin with a potent aftertaste. A tasty smooth snack to enjoy with carrot sticks, roasted garlics & bread sticks.

Ingredients

Method
  1. Firstly, drain your chickpeas using a sieve and save a bit of the liquid in the bottom of can for later (if you wish).
  2. Next, empty the chickpeas into a food processor and add all the remaining ingredients - except the bean liquid/water.
  3. Whizz and blend.
  4. Depending on the quality of your chickpeas and the size of your lemon you may need to add your extra liquid a little at a time rather than all at once.
  5. Add any extra salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Once fully combined with extra liquid and it is of your perfect consistancy.
  7. Spoon into a serving dish and dip with tasty snacks.
  8. Enjoy!
