These protein balls are very easy to make and very tasty to eat. Coconut and cacao are complimenting superfood flavours with the natural sweetness of dates. A great snack to enjoy before or after a workout, to supply you with a healthy energy boost.
Equipment
- High Powered Blender or Food Processor
- Spatula
- Fridge
Ingredients
Optional addition
- 2 Tbsp Chocolate Peanut Butter Powder
Method
- Place all the ingredients into a high powered blender or food processor.
- Whizz the mixture, pausing after a few moments to a spatula to scrape the ingredients off the sides.
- Carry on blending until combined.
- If you have time, place the mixture into a fridge overnight or for at least 2 hours before rolling them into balls.
- Wet your hands a little and roll the mixture into balls with your hands.
- This amount of mixture makes about 18 balls that weigh approx 26g each.
- After the mixture has been rolled, place the balls in the fridge until it's time to eat.
- If you have any extra coconut flour or cacao powder, give them a roll in the powders for a finishing touch.
- Snack and enjoy!
