- Food Processor
- Pestle and Mortar
Ingredients
- 100g Pitted Dates
- 60g Walnuts
- 80g Desiccated Coconut
- 40g Oats
- Squeeze of Raw Honey
Optional coating
- Handful of Pistachio Nuts
Method
- Firstly, add the dates to the food processor and whizz for a few minutes until they have broken down.
- Then add the rest of the ingredients to the food processor (minus the pistachos or optional coating) and whizz until the mixture is blended together well.
- Next, use your hands to mould the mixture into balls.
- (Tip: Wet your hands a little before hand so the mixture doesn't just stick to your hands.)
- Then optionally, bash the pistachio nuts in the pestle and mortar to make nutty crumbs and roll your energy balls in it to coat each energy ball.
- Serve and enjoy!
