
A chocolatey crunchy energy bar with powerful ingredients to support health and vitality including cordyceps, ashwagandha and maca. It also contains plenty of zinc, an essential mineral which is required for the correct formation of testosterone and reproductive health, muscle repair, digestive, and immune health.

Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease and line a 9 x 9in traybake tin with baking parchment
- Place the dates into a mug and pour over boiling water, leave to soften for 5 mins
- Into a large bowl add the oats, cashew nuts, cacao nibs and sift the black maca powder, cordyceps mushroom powder, ashwagandha powder, cacao powder and Himalayan salt
- Drain the Medjool dates and add to a blender with the coconut oil and almond butter. Blend until smooth.

- Transfer into the lined traybake tin and press down firmly. The mixture should be approximately ½ inch thick.
- Place into the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and leave to cool, cut into 8-10 bars or squares

This recipe can also be rolled into energy balls and chilled in the fridge for 30 mins.
Can use raw pumpkin seed butter instead of almond butter.
