
Danielle's Superfood Energy Balls have a base mixture of crushed nuts and are full of protein, vitamins and minerals. The dates add sweetness while the chia and flaxseeds contribute their rich nutrition and texture. They are then flavoured with either Wheatgrass, Acai or Spirulina Powder - this gives each ball a specific twist to enjoy. These Energy Balls are protein packed which makes them very filling - just eating one can give you enough satisfaction to last until the next meal.

Method
- Take the Mixed Nuts and chop them in your food processor until they become crumb
- Whilst doing this, soak your dates for 5 mins in hot water to make them extra juicy
- Add the desicatted Coconut, Linseeds and Chia Seeds and blend them into the mix
- Then add the soaked Dates and also the Cacao Powder and blend again
- Divide your soft mixture into three equal parts
- With each part of the mix we will now add the Superfood flavouring
- Place one third of the mixture into the blender and add a teaspoon of Spirulina Powder
- Blend a little more until the Spirulina Powder has mixed in.
- Then roll the mixture into balls
- Each ball can then be rolled in the Spirulina Powder to add extra flavour
- Reapeat steps 1-5 of 'ADDING THE FLAVOURING' with the Acai Powder and Wheatgrass Powder to complete the process
