If you’re craving something “meaty,” these easy vegan meatballs surely deliver. The TVP mince offers a satisfying mouthfeel, making them a moreish snack on their own. They are also a fantastic addition to pasta sauce, and pair perfectly with gravy, mashed potatoes and steamed greens!

  1. Preheat oven to 200C. In a pot, heat 1 tsp olive oil and add diced onions, cook until browned.
  2. Add TVP, stir and cook together for about a minute. Add remaining ingredients except for oat flour and leftover olive oil. Simmer until water is completely absorbed – about 10 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool for a few minutes. Add the oat flour and mix well until all the flour is incorporated. Adjust seasoning if necessary. Using wet hands, shape into 1-2 inch balls and place evenly on baking tray. Drizzle remaining olive oil and Bake for 20 - 25 minutes or until golden brown.
