
Emma's Amazingly Healthy Chocolate Brownies are just what you need with afternoon tea. They’re gooey and filling - not only are they healthy they're quick and easy to make too. You don’t need a high powered food processor and you won’t suffer from a sugar crash just before dinner. With the added nutrients and phytochemicals from the Acai and Beetroot powders, these brownies bring extra bounce and fortitude to your day. Enjoy.

Ingredients
- 2 x Ripe Bananas
- 1 x tsp Vanilla Bean Paste
- 2 x tbsp Maple Syrup or Agave Syrup
- 2 x tsp Honey
- 75g Morello Cherries
- ½ x cup of Oats
Method
- Pre-heat oven to 170°C (with fan) or gas mark 5
- Place the Bananas into a food processor and blend the Bananas into a purée
- Add the Acai, Beetroot and Cacao Powders; and the Maple Syrup, Honey and Vanilla. Blend
- Then add your 100g of Almonds and blend until smooth
- Next mix in your Oats and Morello Cherries
- When blended down to a smooth mixture pour into shallow lined tin/baking tray
- Cook for 40/50 minutes until the top is firm
- Allow to cool for and then cut into slices
