Cacao & Cashew Easter Eggs Recipe

Scrumptuous, rich and utterly divine, these pure chocolate Easter eggs come in three flavours; Cacao & Vanilla, Cacao & Cinnamon and Cacao & Cherry. Healthy Easter Eggs at last - seriously guilt-free indulgence!

  • Food Processor
  • Spoons
  • 3 Small Bowls
  • Tray
  • Fridge
  • Egg Mould


  1. Put all the dates into the food processor and blend until smooth. 
  2. Add cashew butter, cacao powder and vanilla powder then blitz until blended and smooth.
  3. If you’d like a trio of flavoured Energy Eggs remove from food processer and separate mixture into 3 seperate bowls.
  5. Retain 1/3 of the mixture as cacao & vanilla, as above.
  6. To the second 1/3 of mixture add ¼ tsp of cinnamon powder and mix together well.
  7. To the final third 1/3  of mixture add ¼ tsp of cherry powder, as above - mix well.
  8. Then, take either a tsp or a tbsp of mix (however big you'd like your eggs!) and using your hands roll until smooth. Start with a ball shape and then form the egg shape or use a mould if you would prefer.
  9. Repeat & try not to eat too much of the mix!
  10. If you would like just one flavour combination add 2 tsps of cinnamon powder to the whole mix or 2 tsps of cherry powder.
  11. Pop onto a tray and into the fridge for at least a few hours for them to mould together and harden. 
  12. Share, enjoy & hide for a scrumptious Easter Egg hunt!

Instead of Cashew Butter you could choose any other Nut butters such as Almond Butter or Walnut Butter. Whichever nut your heart desires! 

If Cherry Powder isn't your desired fruit, we have Raspberry, Strawberry, Acai, Mango or Banana Powders too. The options are endless!
