
A delicious, homemade snack bar recipe. Packed full with nutritious superfoods and energy boosting ingredients. An ideal snack for on the go or to give you a natural sweet boost.

- Greaseproof Paper
- Mixing Bowl

Ingredients
Method
- Line a 9x13in tin or tub with greaseproof paper.
- Mix together the oats, puffed quinoa, dates, chia seeds, hemp seeds, buckwheat, cacao nibs and maca powder if using.
- Place the almond butter, maple syrup and coconut sugar in a pan and cook on a medium heat for a few minutes until melted and bubbles gently.
- Pour this into the dry ingredients immediately and mix well to combine. Tip into the lined tin/tub and press down with your hands evenly. Set aside.
- Gently heat the coconut oil, almond butter and maple syrup then remove from the heat and whisk in the cacao powder to form a smooth sauce.
- Pour this over the base to cover in a generous layer then scatter over the flaked almonds and cacao nibs. Place in the fridge for at least 2 hours to set.
- When ready to serve, remove from the tin/tub, place on a chopping board and cut into 8 bars.
- Eat and enjoy!
