Inspired by one of our blogger's guilty pleasures, these tasty, healthy granola bars have all the taste with only a fraction of the calories!  Bursting with nutty, seedy goodness - these bars are a great snack if you're on the go and just need a boost to keep you going until your next meal.


Equipment
  • Square or Rectangular Baking Tin
  • Saucepan
  • Wooden Spoon
  • Spatula
Method

Print

  1. Preheat your oven to 190C//gas 5 (170C for fan ovens). Grease and line a square or rectangular tin.
  2. Put the low-fat spread or coconut oil and agave syrup into a medium-sized sauce pan and allow it to melt over a low heat, stirring continously.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients and stir until thoroughly combined.
  4. Spoon the mixture into the tin and level it out (a spatula is very handy for this!)
  5. Place onto the top shelf of the oven and bake for 20 mins, until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool, then carefully remove from the baking parchment and tin and slice into 12 squares.
