Learn how to make your own Almond Milk by following this easy recipe. You only need 4 natural ingredients to make this dairy-free vegan Nut Milk. Homemade Almond Milk is a great alternative to shop bought Milk in cartons. Almonds are an antioxidant and high in vitamin E as well as protein. This simple nutritious Nut Milk can be enjoyed like any other milk... pour over cereal, splash in hot drinks, use as an ingredient for porridge or drink on its own!

  1. Add the almonds to a bowl, cover with cold water and leave soaking overnight or for a minimum of 8 hours.
  2. Drain the almonds using a sieve then add them to a high-powered blender or food processor along with the water, salt and maple syrup (if using).
  3. Blend for a good few minutes until the mixture looks fairly smooth.
  4. Strain the mixture through a nut-milk bag to remove any pulp.
  5. Keep refrigerated in a jar with lid and consume within 3 days!
