However it can also reduce inflammation and it can be used to treat skin problems and to relieve the discomfort of insect stings and bites. This recipe is for making a natural sting & bite salve, and is very easy to make when you need it with two simple ingredients. However why not make a whole jar and store it for when you need it, as part of your natural first aid kit.

Method
- Spoon the coconut oil into a small bowl.
- Add the echinacea and mix together.
- Using a flannel, apply a bit of the mixture to the stung or bitten area of skin.
- Rub it in a little and leave to let it sooth.
- Hopefully, you will feel the discomfort ease.
