Mood Boosting Banana & Mango Super Smoothie Recipe

This super malty smoothie has Maca Powder, Banana Powder, Cashew Butter and Avocado to give it a thick wholesome fortifying nature. The addition of fresh Mango and Banana will give the malty taste a fruity twist that makes this smoothie a morning brightener or an energy enhancer at any time of the day.

  • Tablespoon


  1. Add water (The amount of water is up to you. A little can be added at the start and then at the end if the blend is still too thick.)
  2. Prepare your Mango, Avocado and fresh frozen Banana and deposit them in the blender.
  3. Then scoop in your Maca and Banana Powder.
  4. Next add your Cashew Butter.
  5. Blend. (You may need to add a little more water in here)

Instead of plain water you could use Coconut Water in its place. Also the fresh fruit can be substituted for other fruits if you wish.

The fresh banana and the banana powder are both packed with potassium - this important mineral is responsible for stablising blood pressure and conducting messages within the central nervous system - if your daily life involves a lot of physical work, getting enough potassium is important as this can help to stop you from tiring too quickly.

Finally the cashew nut butter will give you a healthy dose of essential fats and the maca powder is rich in antioxidant minerals and immune boosting vitamin C - this smoothie is delicious whilst being highly nutritious!
