No Bake Oat & Cacao Flapjacks are a tasty two layered on-the-go treat or dessert. No baking is required, all that is needed is a freezer. These delicious flapjacks are 100% gluten-free, vegan and coeliac friendly. A snack that can be ready within half an hour and are really easy to make with a super satisfying taste.

- Freezer
- High Powered Blender
- Sharp Knife
- Spatula
Ingredients
Bottom oat layer
- 180g Gluten-Free Oats
- Pinch of Salt
Top cacao layer
- 2 Tbsp Hot Water
Method
- Firstly, for the oat layer - combine the oats and coconut flour together in a bowl.
- Then, melt the coconut oil with the agave in a pan and add in the oats, coconut flour, salt and almond butter.
- Combine and place in a tin. Leave in the freezer for 30 minutes or so.
- Whilst the oat base is setting, create the chocolate cacao layer.
- Melt the coconut oil in a saucepan before adding all this layers ingredients to a high powered blender.
- Blend until smooth. You may need to add some more water depending on the consistency – you want it to be smooth but not too runny.
- Using a spatula, add the chocolate cacao layer on top of the oat base and place it back in the freezer for an hour.
- To serve, use a sharp knife to cut up into squares and enjoy on the go or as a dessert!
