
What could be more enticing than a delicious hot chocolate packed with flavour, and as a bonus, filled with nourishing ingredients? Completely milk free but with the added benefits of coconut milk, spices and superfood powders. Perfect for the cold weather, this vegan hot chocolate is a cuddle in a cup and a great way to start or end the day.

Ingredients
- 1 Can of Coconut Milk
- 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
- 2 Bananas
- Pinch of Mixed Spice
- Flakes, Almonds or Seeds to Sprinkle
Method
- Place a non stick saucepan over a medium heat. Add the coconut milk as well as all ingredients except the bananas.
- Using a wooden spoon, keep stirring to allow the powders to mix with milk and thicken for about 5 minutes. This will form a thick dark blend.
- Chop the bananas and add to a food processor with the chocolate coconut milk mixture. Blend until you have a smooth creamy consistency.
- Empty into your cup and sprinkle some flaked almonds or seeds for added benefits.
- You can store this in the refrigerator.
