The Orange and Turmeric work delightfully together in this delicious cake with the quantity of turmeric being just enough to add a depth of flavour, without being overpowering. This vegan recipe makes for a deliciously moist, zesty loaf that you'll find difficult to have just one slice of!

Ingredients
- 250g Self Raising Flour
- 150g Caster Sugar
- 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
- Juice and Grated Zest of 1 Orange
- 200ml Non-dairy Milk
- 100ml of Flavourless Oil
Method
- Pre-heat the oven to 180°c and grease or line a loaf tin.
- Measure out all the dry ingredients (excluding orange zest), add to a large mixing bowl and stir up.
- Measure out the milk and oil and add the juice and zest of the orange to this.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stir briefly until just combined.
- Pop the mix into the loaf tin and place it in the oven for around 35 minutes.
