  • Silicon Mini 18 Hole Doughnut Mould
  • Mixing Bowl x 2
  • Piping Bag
  • Heatproof Bowl
  • Small Saucepan
  • Hand Whisk
  • Spoon
  • Small Mixing Bowl x 2
  • Cooling Rack

  1. Pre-creation: Create your chia egg by mixing chia seeds with water in small cup and set aside.
  2. Firstly, preheat the oven to 180 degrees c.
  3. Combine all the dry donut ingredients in a mixing bowl and set aside.
  4. In another bowl, combine the wet donut ingredients (including the set chia egg) mix together then add the dry mixture to this and completely combine.
  5. Spoon the batter into a piping bag and squeeze the batter into a greased silicon doughnut tray.
  6. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. Let the donuts cool for 5 minutes before transfering them from the moulds to the cooling rack.
  8. To make the gorgeous donut glaze; melt the coconut oil in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of boiling water.
  9. Place the melted coconut into a small mixing bowl and add the super vital or acai powder - or make up 2 bowls with a powder in each one.
  10. Whisk the coconut oil, maple syrup and acai or super vital powders together in both bowls.
  11. Hold a cool donut in your hand and dip the whole layer of the top into the glaze mixture and sprinkle with your desired toppings.
  12. Leave on tray covered in parchment paper for at least 1 hour until set.
  13. Eat, share and enjoy!
