Kay's Simple Healthy Hummus Recipe

Refrigerate and eat within two days.

Super simple and creamy hummus recipe that is sure to delight. Great for a party or quick healthy snack with some raw diced carrots and cumcumbers. With a fantastic texture and lots of garlic and paprika, there's no better complement to your main meal! 

  • Colander or Sieve
  • Blender or Food Processor


  1. Drain the chickpeas and rinse
  2. Combine the lemon juice, garlic cloves, cumin and tahini and water into a food processor
  3. Add in the chickpeas and blend to a creamy paste
  4. Add in a pinch of black pepper and salt and blend again for one minute
  5. If you require more seasoning add accordingly to taste
  6. Place the hummus into a large serving bowl and smooth the top with a back of a spoon
  7. Place in the fridge until ready to serve
  8. When serving drizzle over the olive oil and paprika
