This smoothie is ultra thick, delectably tasty and 100% vegan, with a velvety smooth consistency thanks to the creamy cashew nuts. It only takes a couple of minutes to whizz together (provided you've soaked the cashews), and is bursting with wholesome ingredients, such as strawberries that are packed with vitamin C and maca, hailed for regulating hormones. A fun healthy drink for all the family!

  1. Pre-smoothie creation: Soak the cashew nuts for at least 2 hours in water in a small bowl.
  2. Firstly, place the smoothie ingredients except the fresh strawberries in a blender and whizz to form a smooth consistancy. 
  3. Set aside half of this mixture in a glass. 
  4. Add the strawberries to the blender and whizz until combined.
  5. To make the two colour smoothie effect, pour the pink strawberry smoothie mixture into a serving glass first then add the cashew smoothie mixture on top and let drip over the top. 
  6. Add desired decorations, such as chopped fresh strawberries and rose petals. 
  7. Drink and enjoy!
