Superfood Guacamole on Toast Recipe

Filling, tasty and a great healthy fat source, avocados really do have it all! Add in a good serving of wheatgrass powder and a sprinkling of hemp seeds and turn this favourite recipe truly "super" - it's delicious when served on rye or sourdough toast.

  • Pestle and Mortar


  1. Crush the garlic with the salt in a pestal and mortar. The salt breaks down the garlic in no time!
  2. Add the lime juice and the wheatgrass powder.
  3. Very finely dice the tomato and red onion and add that to the lime garlic mixture.
  4. Cut the avocado in half and take out the stone. scoop the flesh out and add to the other ingredients.
  5. Crush everything together until well mixed.
  6. I like to leave a little texture in the avocado but you can mash it until it is as smooth as you'd like.
  7. Sprinkle with hulled hemp seeds for extra added crunch
