Its important to infuse all the spices in this recipe in boiling water so that they truly release their aromatic oils and taste. This recipe uses Indigo Nutrition coconut milk powder which is so delicious and creamy and very convenient. Its sweetened with the queen of syrups - maple. Yum!
Ingredients
- 250ml boiling water
- Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
Method
- Get making!
- Add the turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper and cayenne pepper to the pan of boiling water and infuse for 5 minutes on a very low heat allowing the spices to infuse.
- Add the coconut milk powder and maple syrup and give it a good whisk -until its frothed to perfection
