Arnica has been used as a traditional remedy for bruises, swelling, pain relief and to speed up healing for centuries. It speeds up the healing process in many ways, it encourages the body to send more white blood cells to the affected area. With natural anti-inflammatory properties it can reduce swelling and can be especially soothing to sprains, strains and sports injuries. Also a natural pain reliever, Arnica can be effective for pain caused by trauma (such as a fall), and inflammatory conditions such as arthritis.

Arnica Flowers Oil may also be effective for skin conditions including; eczema, psorisis and rosacea. It is rich in antioxidants which can help to reduce the signs of aging by lowering oxidative stress to the skin.

Using Aromatherapy in your daily routine is simple, easy and can be enormously beneficial. Pure neat essential oils can be evaporated into the environment and inhaled while products that have already been diluted in an oil can be applied straight to the skin. There are lots of different ways to utilize the pure neat essential oils; these can be made into a room spray or used in an an essential oil burner/ vaporizer.

This is a lovely way to perfume an environment and essential oils are very good at affecting the mood, mind and emotions when evaporated into the air. Adding essential oils to your bath is the best way to ensure the oils are absorbed through the pores of the skin while also inhaling the vapors; maximum benefit can then be had whilst enjoying a soak. Additionally the neat oils can be diluted into a carrier medium. This can be a cream, body butter, face cream, vegetable body oil and bath salts to name a few. For full instructions go to our How to use Aromatherapy page.

Apply directly to the affected area up to four times per day. Arnica Flowers Oil can be used to massage sore, tired muscles and can be massaged into the scalp to encourage hair growth.

Arnica Flowers Oil is created using the "solar maceration" method. Premium quality Arnica flowers are selected and placed into cold pressed Sunflower Oil and left in the sun for several weeks. The sun helps to infuse the active plant ingredients, essential oils and other plant material such as the colour, to gently transfer their healing qualities to the oil.
