Manufacture Process
After 5 years of growth the roots of the Astragalus plants are mature and ready for harvest. Indigo Herbs Astragalus roots are harvested and identified by plant experts before the leaves and small stem parts stripped away leaving only the root. Only the best prime examples of the root are used in our Astragalus Root Tea. Damaged or underdeveloped roots are discarded through a process of elimination. The best root matter is then slow dried out of direct sunlight and tested for pollutants to make sure that you get only the very finest root for your tea. This ensures that the plant is of pharmacoepial grade and is good for purpose.
