Bergamot is a refreshing and uplifting botanical, and has many uses. It is used traditionally to ease emotional anxiety and grief. It is an anti-depressant and its light and fruity top note aroma can bring back enthusiasm and banish apathy.

Bergamot, Mandarin and Geranium
To uplift deression:
Bergamot, Neroil, Lavender, Geranium.

Bergamot, Ylang ylang, Sandalwood, Mandarin.

Bergamot Traditional recommended daily amount:
Use 6-8 drops of essential oil in a bath, 2-4 drops in an oil burner and 10 -18 drops per 30ml of carrier oil.
Contra-indications of Bergamot :
None Known. However it is photosensitive so do not go out in the sunlight after applying it to the skin.
