Indigo Herbs Burdock Root Tea is produced from mature Burdock plants that have been harvested for their roots. After the roots have been dug up and cleaned they are inspected for animal damage and selected for the best specimens to be cut and made into Burdock Root Tea. The selected roots are then dehydrated until there is little moisture in the plant material. The dried Burdock Root is then tested for heavy metals and other pollutants before being made ready for shipping.
