Butterbur Products
The Butterbur plant is also known as Bog Rhubarb, Sweet Colt's Foot, Petasites and the Umbrella Plant. It is native to Europe, North America and Asia where it has a long history of traditional use for its calming, soothing properties. It typically grows in wet, marshy ground and its name, linked to traditional use, was derived from its large leaves which were used to wrap butter in warm weather.
Native Americans have traditionally used Butterbur as a herbal remedy for headaches, where as in medieval Europe it was considered a remedy for the plague and used to bring down fevers.
Indigo Herbs is delighted to offer you a high quality example of this herb with Butterbur Purple Root Cut Tea.
