Chickweed

Chickweed Leaf Tea can be made into a delicious hot drink by decocting the Chickweed leaves into boiling water. Use 1-2 teaspoons per cup of boiling water and steep for 3-10 minutes depending on taste. Then strain and serve.

The leaves that are used for Indigo Herbs Chickweed Leaf Tea come from plants that are grown specifically for the use as tea. Cultivated in close proximity, the Chickweed plants first reach maturity before they can be cut and dried in semi shade. Only the best prime examples of the leaf are used in our tea. The plant matter is then slow dried out of direct sunlight and tested for pollutants before being made ready for shipping.

Chickweed

Chickweed Powder can be added encapsulated or added to smoothies, soups and stews. Alternatively it can be mixed with water and used to make a poultice or salve to be applied topically. 

Suggested Use: 1g - 2g daily/as required or as directed by a Herbal Practitioner.
