Taking herbs in a Tincture or Fluid extract preparation is simple and easy. The tincture can be measured out in a small ml measuring cup, medicine cup or spoon, and the tincture can be taken directly.

However some people do find the bitter tincture taste to be too strong, so it may be a good idea to dilute the drops in water or fruit juice. For children, the elderly, those with a sensitive constitution or those avoiding alcohol, the alcohol can be evaporated from the tincture. This can be done by putting the drops in boiling water and leaving for 10 minutes to evaporate. For full instructions go to our How to take Herbal Tincture page.

Cramp Bark Tincture can be added to water or fruit juice and taken when required.

Traditionally Taken: 2-3ml taken 2-3 times per day, or as directed by a Herbal Practitioner.

20 drops from the glass dropper equals approximately 1ml.

The plants used to make Indigo Herbs Cramp Bark Tincture undergo stringent checks to ensure they develop to their fullest potential, whilst adhering to exceptionally high quality standards. After careful selection and cleaning the plant matter undergoes a process of cold percolation in order to extract the active constituents into tincture form. The cold percolation method employs a gradient circulation of the solution which keeps the plant ingredients in perpetual contact with the ethanol. This technique is faster and more efficient than maceration and ensures there is less waste of precious plant materials. This premium quality product is manufactured to GMP standards and Quality Assured by Indigo Herbs. It is 100% pure botanical ingredients, completely free of synthetic ingredients with absolutely nothing added.

I bought this to help with cramps and muscle fasiculations I've had for a couple of years in my lower legs and feet. Within a few hours of taking this for the first time, I noticed that my always very cold feet were feeling warm. This has continued to be the case, whenever I take this tincture which I now do about twice a day. Also my cramps have reduced much and the fasiculations are hardly noticeable. No adverse effects noted. Have already bought a second bottle to ensure I don't run out.
