Taking herbs in a Tincture or Fluid extract preparation is simple and easy. The tincture can be measured out in a small ml measuring cup, medicine cup or spoon, and the tincture can be taken directly.

However some people do find the bitter tincture taste to be too strong, so it may be a good idea to dilute the drops in water or fruit juice. For children, the elderly, those with a sensitive constitution or those avoiding alcohol, the alcohol can be evaporated from the tincture. This can be done by putting the drops in boiling water and leaving for 10 minutes to evaporate. For full instructions go to our How to take Herbal Tincture page.

Dandelion Tincture can be added to water or fruit juice.

Dandelion Tincture:
Traditionally Taken: 5 - 10 ml tincture taken 3 times per day.
or as directed by a Herbal practitioner.

20 drops from the glass dropper equals approximately 1ml.

  • Produced to GMP standards.
  • Quality Assured by Indigo Herbs.
  • Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
  • 100% pure botanical ingredients, absolutely nothing added.
  • Packaged in a pharmacoepial grade brown glass bottle with dropper.

Manufacture Process

Only the finest mature Dandelion plants are used in Indigo Herbs Dandelion Tincture. The stripped Dandelion leaf undergoes a process of cold percolation in order to extract the active constituents into tincture form. The cold percolation method employs a gradient circulation of the solution which keeps the plant ingredients in perpetual contact with the ethanol. This technique is faster and more efficient than maceration and ensures there is less waste of precious plant materials. This premium quality product is manufactured to GMP standards and Quality Assured by Indigo Herbs. It is 100% pure botanical ingredients, completely free of synthetic ingredients with absolutely nothing added.

Taraxacum officinale, Alcohol, Water

Dandelion is contraindicated where there is a blockage of the bile ducts or acute inflammation of the gallbladder. Please consult a Herbal Practitioner before consuming Dandelion in the cases of liver disease. Please consult your Healthcare Practitioner if you are taking prescription medications.

Excellent service and company, 5 stars. I couldn't find dandelion leaf anywhere else. Fast international delivery. My 16yo dog has fluid on her lungs and dandelion leaf is more effective than veta furosemide. The vets pill depletes potassium whereas this is full of potassium. I now use the two in conjunction with each other. As this is alcohol based I recommend removing the alcohol before giving to dogs.
