Eyebright Tea can be made into a delicious hot drink by decocting the Eyebright leaves into boiling water. Use 1-2 teaspoons per cup of boiling water and steep for 3-10 minutes depending on taste. Then strain and serve.
Serving:
1-2 teaspoons of leaves per 1 cup of boiling water, 3 times a day.

Eyebright is considered safe. No studies have been conducted to assess the safety of this herb during pregnancy and lactation and it is therefore not recommended during this time.
The leaves that are used for Indigo Herbs Eyebright Tea come from plants that are grown specifically for the use as tea. Cultivated in close proximity, the Eyebright plants first reach maturity before they can be cut and dried in semi shade. Only the best prime examples of the leaf are used in our tea. The plant matter is then slow dried out of direct sunlight and tested for pollutants before being made ready for shipping.
