Feverfew

Feverfew Tea can be made into a hot drink by decocting the Feverfew leaves into boiling water. Use 1-2 teaspoons per cup of boiling water and steep for 3-10 minutes depending on taste. Then strain and serve.

Serving:

1-2 teaspoons of leaves per 1 cup of boiling water, 3 times a day.

Contraindications:

Pregnant women are recommended to avoid any decoction of Feverfew entirely as it might lead to uterine contraction, resulting in miscarriage. Lactating mothers and children below two years of age should not take this infusion.

The leaves that are used for Indigo Herbs Feverfew Tea come from plants that are grown specifically for the use as tea. Cultivated in close proximity, the Feverfew plants first reach maturity before they can be cut and dried in semi shade. Only the best prime examples of the leaf are used in our tea. The plant matter is then slow dried out of direct sunlight and tested for pollutants before being made ready for shipping.

Feverfew

Feverfew Powder can be added to smoothies, encapsulated or mixed with a little water or juice.

A typical dosage of Feverfew is one to two grams of powdered leaf up to three times per day.
