Manufacture Process
Our Fo-ti is the root and nothing but the root. When the Polygonum multiflorum vine has reached the required maturity the root is dug up, cleaned, inspected for quality and broken down to be dehydrated. To make sure that no bacteria or mold begins to form on the root this process is done in a sterile environment at a specific temperature. After careful selection and cleaning the plant material undergoes a process of cold percolation in order to extract the active constituents into tincture form. The cold percolation method employs a gradient circulation of the solution which keeps the plant ingredients in perpetual contact with the blend. This technique is faster and more efficient than maceration and ensures there is less waste of precious plant materials. This Fo-ti Tincture is 100% pure botanical ingredients, completely free of synthetic ingredients with absolutely nothing added.
