By consuming fruit and vegetable powders you are boosting your phyto-nutrient status. Phyto-nutrients are found in all plants and are quite separate from vitamins, minerals, fats, proteins and carbohydrates. ‘Phyto’ means ‘plant’ in Greek, and phyto-nutrients help with cellular function and communication. Here is a recipe to get you started: to 300ml coconut milk add 1 banana, and 1 teaspoon each of Mango powder, Baobab powder, Chlorella, Spirulina, and Wheatgrass/Barley grass. Blend and serve.
