Indigo Herbs Gentian Root Tea is produced from mature Gentian plants that have been harvested for their roots. After the roots have been dug up and cleaned they are inspected for animal damage and selected for the best specimens to be cut and made into Gentian Root Tea. The selected roots are then dehydrated until there is little moisture in the plant material. The dried Gentian Root is then tested for heavy metals and other pollutants before being made ready for shipping.
