Manufacture Process
Indigo Herbs Organic Goji Berry Tincture is made from berries grown in rich, river-fed soil. The plantation has about 3,000 Goji trees per hectare and each are grown much like a vine horizontally and to a height of around one metre. Harvest begins in June and will last until November where each tree will typically produce around 1 KG of fruit. After picking, the berries are screened and undesirable individuals are thrown out. The pick of the crop are then washed and prepared to undergo a process of cold percolation in order to extract the active constituents into tincture form. The cold percolation method employs a gradient circulation of the solution which keeps the plant ingredients in perpetual contact with the blend. This technique is faster and more efficient than maceration and ensures there is less waste of precious plant materials. This premium quality product is 100% pure botanical ingredients, completely free of synthetic ingredients with absolutely nothing added. It is manufactured to GMP standards and Quality Assured by Indigo Herbs.
